Research Topic

Co-leader of DADI team

My research activities are focused on peach fruit quality and brown rot resistance. I'm developing a multi-disciplinary challenging approach involving ecophysiology, genetics and computer-based modeling to better understand the development of fruit quality and susceptibility to brown rot and identify the causes of the variability observed in the orchard. The final goal is to design peach ideotypes suitable for sustainable agriculture.
