Unlocking the Barriers to Organic Almond Growing

The aim of the project is to propose operational solutions to enable the growing of almond trees in Organic Agriculture. The project should make it possible to identify biological and biotechnological efficiency levers, to develop a Bio-control tool for the mass trapping of the Eurytoma amygdali almond wasp based on kairomones, tools to help decision-making, and to assess their impacts, limits and constraints.

In the project, it is planned to ensure an objective and efficient dissemination of the results and to enable the transfer and support of innovative strategies resulting from the project to almond producers.
